Manchester Print Fair #8

This coming Saturday (the 25th) sees the next Manchester Print Fair. This time it's in the People's History Museum and there'll be 40 stalls selling zines, as well as prints and various other dead nice things. Well worth a look. Plus, the People's History Museum is great so you can kill two birds with one stone and have a look around the exhibitions while you're there.

There's a list of stallholders on the Manchester Print Fair Facebook page and there'll also be a variety of print demonstrations by GF Smith.

New In: The Edge Collection

The Edge Collection is a beautiful, fold-out mini zine full of photographs of Manchester architecture by Fernando Lavin. It's the physical manifestation of the equally beautiful website, which you can find here. Go and have a look!

New In: Nous Magazine #3: The Renaissance Issue

I think I picked this very nicely printed risograph zine up at Takk the other day. The blurb on their Facebook says:

"NOUS is a Manchester based project dealing with all what lies within but often is covered up. It is about the things we try to hide and should say out loud. NOUS is you, your friends and the stranger in the streets.

We will give young creatives a platform for their inspiring work and also make mind culture and everything that comes with it gain centre stage in our everyday life again."

New in: Found by Jamie Martin

"Found is a 16 page photo zine created as a personal project for myself. This publication features 35mm black and white photography of locations and situations around Manchester."

You can buy a copy from here and have a sneak peek at the inside here.
